1. It is very important to start conserving water now before its too late. We can also learn about the different ways to help solve the water problem Singapore is facing and the different opinions about the solutions displayed.
ReplyDelete2. Creating a blog to study and learn is much more effective in my opinion. It is much more interesting than studying in the classroom which could be boring at times. It is also very funny to see the different opinions that everyone of us gave.
3. Applying past knowledge to current situations.
The three things I learnt from this activity:

2) We're so out-of-water that we needed to buy water from Malaysia!

The two things that I've enjoyed while doing this activity:
1) We get to use blogs to update our research! I mean like seriously, how often do you get that. Right? :D
2) Erm. I enjoyed... The researching part. Managed to gain more knowledge after doing the research.
The HOM that I applied:
I applied persisting because honestly, I got fed up doing researches. So yeah, I persisted? Have fun doing your researches people! PERSIST!
Singapore is short of water. Water is very important. Singapore contract with malaysia is ending in 2060+. I enjoy the commenting and blogging... I applied the HOM persistence.

Singapore is a rich and important trading port. We have to get more trade and rely on our trades to buy water from our neighbouring countries for water.

3) Applying past knowledge .
1. I learnt that there is chortage of water in Singapore. Singapore is trying to solve the problem. Desalinated water is blended with treated water before it is supplied to places.

erm... applying past knowledge to current situation? i applied what I learnt on our field trip to the NEWater visitor centre to the current situation. uhh, i don't know.

3. If too many plants are build for water, Singapore cannot build more resources on other things.
